Why do businesses need blog Content?

First and foremost, blog content is great to help attract customers to your business. They might be starting to search for what you do, a product or service, or they might be closer to their purchase or engaging your service. Great blog content helps show your customers that you know what you're talking about and that you can be trusted.

Secondary to that is SEO. Search Engine Optimisation is a huge concern when it comes to your website being shown to customers when they search for terms related to your business. Blog content can help you target the right keywords, phrases and so on. This means your content is more likely to be ranked higher in the search engine results pages.

Your blog content needs to be written with those keywords and phrases, but first and foremost needs to be written for your readers and target customers. That's quite a job, and many businesses don't manage to find the time to create great blog content - or they don't have the ability to write well.

Can't I just use ChatGPT Content?

Sure you can. Thousands of businesses are. And there's absolutely nothing to stop you, either. But we still don't know how Google will treat AI content that hasn't been edited by a human. Some AI content is good enough - for example, on category pages, where a customer is less likely to read that content - but unedited, AI content tends to be bland, repetitive, and boring. The thing AI can't give you at the moment is personal experience - which is really important for customers.

AI can be a tool to help create content, but if you want really high quality content that performs, you're never going to beat a real person creating it for you. If you would like to reduce costs for certain aspects of your website, I can work with ChatGPT to produce content, and then edit it so that it reads like a human wrote it.
